With an experience of over 80 years, Mehler Texnologies is the reliable partner for tensioned architectural applications.
The VALMEX® facade product range inspires architects to follow their instincts and build facades according to their imagination. This Hi-Tech material for building facades is characterized by numerous functions that can give them freedom in designing the design without worrying about the materials that will be used. On the one hand, hard and sharp edges can be obtained; on the other hand, smooth sculptural curves can be designed.
VALMEX® facade membranes are the latest fabrics developed by Mehler Texnologies for long-lasting cladding of buildings. They are stronger, lighter and more flexible than other products of this kind. Resistance, durability, permeability, protection, adaptability and effectiveness were the main target characteristics in the entire development process of these materials. The products from the VALMEX® facade range are adaptable and always represent an efficient and attractive way to protect any type of building with a durable facade. They are based on the high-tech composition of well-selected raw materials. They are very resistant materials from PES, based on the unique and very well accepted in the market MEHATOP system with PVDF varnish with self-cleaning properties, leading to technical perfection and becoming the first option in the choice of materials for any long-lasting cladding application.
VALMEX® facade membranes were designed to offer solar protection to large permanent facades, not to obstruct visibility and also to have protection properties against water penetration. VALMEX® TF400 is available in 2 versions: a. as an open mesh (TF400 breeze) or b. closed with a transparent foil (TF400 crystal). On request, both versions can be delivered with a special varnish for the print.
Make the building stand out or fit it into the landscape: everything is possible with the printable facades from Mehler Texnologies
VALMEX® facade membranes are extremely versatile and can be used as a substrate for permanent printed surfaces. An example is the Archiinks system for covering facades for building constructions and renovations. Covering with a tensioned facade gives the building a creative, innovative and very personal aspect. All with a 10-year warranty.
VALMEX® products from Mehler Texnologies are found in more and more innovative facade projects, due to their very cost-effectiveness. This is achieved due to performance, longevity, variability, but also aspects related to environmental protection.
Miami Midtown Case Study
Parking lots are often covered with expensive metal sheets facades, for example. These facade systems usually trigger an elaborate ventilation effort. Having a textile film with a considerable open surface means that you can save money and a lot of effort in ventilation systems.
The facade of the parking lot in Miami offers protection against the winds and the sun’s rays. Different shades of gray cover the main visual parts of the building; at the same time, people can easily look outside.
Stellar Okas 1425 Case Study
The facade of the Stellar Okas building is covered with architectural mesh on the south side of the building to block the heat from entering the building directly.
Case Study University of Cincinnati Garner Neuroscience Institute
The University of Cincinnati’s Garner Neuroscience Institute modernized its facade using the best quality Valmex Facade materials produced by Mehler Texnologies®.
The durable mesh protects the wall against wind, rain and sun. The homogeneous facade wraps the entire building. At the same time, people inside the building can look out the windows – through the glass and, to the same extent, through the mesh fabric.
The 3D facade structure improves the work environment in many ways: on the one hand, the acoustic effect favors the absorption of street sound; on the other hand, the mesh structure of the fabric has the effect of filtering the external microclimate. Both functions are similar to the natural functions of the surrounding trees.
