The tenth APEX aerial platform exhibition (rescheduled to 15 – 17 June, 2021) is nearly sold out one year in advance and will have 10% more stand space than the 2017 show.

The return to the MECC exhibition venue in Maastricht, The Netherlands – after two editions at the RAI in Amsterdam – has increased the outside area, allowing more exhibitors and larger stands.

More than 100 companies will be present at the MECC on 15 to 17 June, 2021, to showcase all that is new in the access industry. The exhibition is organised by I.P.I. BV and KHL Group, sponsored by Access international magazine and supported by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF).

Notable this year is the number of battery technology exhibitors, more than 10, reflecting the increased interest in non-diesel power sources for access equipment. The growing influence of Chinese suppliers is also evident, with more than 15 exhibitors from the country.

The show will again feature a diverse range of equipment and suppliers to the access industry, including self-propelled platforms, truck mounted lifts, low-level access and towers. Also present will be used equipment brokers, component suppliers and software companies.

Tony Kenter, President of B.V. I.P.I., said: “APEX is a valued meeting place for the global access industry and we are pleased that the exhibitors will again reflect the full supply chain, from platform manufacturers and used equipment specialists, to component suppliers and rental software companies.”

As with previous shows, the event will be co-located with the International Rental Exhibition (IRE) and the European Rental Association’s annual convention. This will ensure the attendance of many of the world’s largest equipment rental businesses.
