Delta Reaches New Milestone in Electrified Intralogistics Infrastructure

Delta, a global leader in power and smart green solutions, has reached a major industry milestone: more than one million industrial vehicles worldwide have been charged using its MOOV Series conductive and wireless charging technology. The installed base includes AGVs, AMRs, forklifts and heavy-duty industrial vehicles operating in demanding 24/7 logistics environments. The milestone underscores the maturity and versatility of Delta’s automated logistics charging solutions, establishing the company as a trusted partner for automated warehouse and production operations.

“The milestone of one million industrial vehicles charged reflects underscores Delta’s commitment to operational excellence, efficiency, and technical precision,” said Daniel Doerflinger, General Manager of the Industrial and Medical Business Unit at Delta Energy Systems. “Customers rely on the MOOV portfolio to ensure uptime, efficiency, and long-term operational stability. With both conductive and wireless charging solutions, we provide scalable infrastructure that supports continuous operations and growing fleets worldwide.”

Delta’s MOOV portfolio covers a power range from 1 to 30 kW and supports both conductive and inductive charging technologies. This broad power range enables efficient charging of a wide spectrum of industrial vehicles — from AGVs and AMRs to high-power applications such as electric forklifts. This flexibility enables operators to implement tailored charging strategies — from centralized fast-charging stations to distributed opportunity charging embedded directly into operational workflows. The systems are engineered for seamless integration into fleet and energy management platforms, ensuring optimized energy demand and stable fleet-wide performance.

The MOOVair Wireless Charging Systems enable contactless charging without mechanical connectors, allowing vehicles to charge during short operational pauses or directly within process cycles. This reduces wear, minimizes maintenance requirements, and increases system availability — particularly in harsh industrial environments where dust, vibration, or high utilization rates challenge traditional plug-in systems. While already widely adopted in AGV and AMR applications, wireless charging is seeing growing interest in heavy-duty vehicles and forklift applications, where robustness, automation, and reduced maintenance are critical.

The MOOVbase conductive chargers extend the charging ecosystem, providing the foundation for high-throughput intralogistics operations. Complementing the wireless solutions, the MOOVbase Modular Charging Systems provide scalable fast-charging infrastructure for large and expanding fleets. Designed for continuous industrial use, the MOOVbase Series have completed more than one billion charging cycles in 24/7 logistics operations. Their modular architecture allows flexible expansion while maintaining high efficiency, durability, and operational reliability.

With intralogistics operations under increasing pressure to improve throughput, energy efficiency, and sustainability, reliable charging infrastructure has become a strategic enabler of automation.
