NHOOD Among the Finalists at the 2026 Solal Awards with „Calendarul Bucuriei”, its Campaign in Romania
Nhood, the international real estate services and solutions platform, has reinforced its position among Europe’s most recognized retail industry companies by securing 7 nominations at the Solal Awards 2026, the awards that recognise the continent’s best shopping centres’ marketing, innovation and management initiatives. Nhood will compete in the Brand & Tenant Partnerships category with the campaign “Calendarul Bucuriei”, developed for Auchan Titan Commercial Center, in Romania.
The nomination recognises a campaign that successfully combined digital engagement with tenant promotion during the previous holiday season. The initiative took the form of an interactive Facebook Advent calendar, where visitors unlocked a new surprise each day and discovered offers from 24 retailers in the shopping centre. Participants had the chance to win prizes worth a total of RON 12,000, generating sustained engagement throughout the campaign while increasing visibility for participating tenants.
“At Nhood, we believe that successful commercial destinations are built around meaningful connections and experiences that bring people together. With Calendarul Bucuriei, we wanted to go beyond a seasonal activation and create a tradition that strengthens the relationship between our tenants and the local community. The campaign showed us the value of combining digital engagement with relevant local experiences, turning a global trend into a memorable moment designed for our audience,” said Isabella Santeiu, Marketing Manager at Nhood in Romania.
Alongside Romania, Nhood projects from Spain and Portugal were also shortlisted, reflecting the company’s ability to drive initiatives that combine innovation, social impact, customer experience and value creation for the territories in which it operates.
In Spain, Zenia Boulevard, managed by Nhood on behalf of its clients, has been selected as a finalist in the Corporate Social Responsibility category for the campaign “We Are All Colours”, an initiative that transforms the shopping centre into a place for connection, inclusion and coexistence for a community comprising more than one hundred nationalities.
The campaign, developed around key dates for international celebrations such as Valentine’s Day or Pride Month, gives a voice to real stories and promotes values including diversity, equality and the fight against violence, engaging employees, visitors and institutions to generate a positive impact on the community.
The shortlist also includes five other projects developed by Nhood in Portugal, such as: Alegro Half Marathon, by Alegro Setúbal; Christmas for All, by Forum Montijo; Rehabilitation, by Alegro Alfragide; Back to Our Roots (Rebranding), by Forum Montijo; Enchanted ChocoVillage, by Alegro Sintra.
In recognition of Nhood’s positioning in marketing and innovation, Maura Teixeira, Marketing & Innovation Director Nhood Iberia, will join the international jury responsible for evaluating this year’s entries. The jury meeting will take place on 13 October in Budapest, where leading industry professionals will select the winning projects.
“These nominations recognise the work of teams that understand shopping centres as living spaces, connected with people and the communities they serve. Beyond retail, we seek to create experiences, foster relationships and generate a positive impact on the surrounding area,” said Maura Teixeira, Marketing & Innovation Director Nhood Iberia.
Building on Nhood’s excellent performance at the 2025 Solal Awards, where the company received five international awards, the nominations further reinforce the company’s strategy of creating retail destinations that combine shopping, leisure, sustainability, innovation and a strong commitment to local communities.
