Laramie Energy deployed ASCO zero-emissions electric dump valves to comply with state regulations, reduce maintenance and boost productivity

Emerson recently partnered with Laramie Energy to help the Colorado-based oil and gas producer comply with state and federal emissions regulations. Using ASCO^TM zero-emissions electric dump valves, the only such all-electric solution for separators, scrubbers, and compression units, Emerson helped Laramie Energy achieve compliance by eliminating both vented and fugitive emissions from the liquid dump stage of their separation process.

Conventional dump valves are often piloted by well gas, which can leak into the atmosphere as vented and fugitive emissions. Some states, including Colorado, have emissions regulations that include fines for noncompliance, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established a waste emissions charge for methane emissions that exceed specified thresholds.

If fugitive emissions are detected, the EPA requires oil and gas producers to report their greenhouse gas data and conduct tests, surveys and repairs. Companies that fall out of regulation must pay expensive fines and waste subsequent downtime to reestablish compliance.

In comparison, ASCO zero-emission electric dump valves use ultra-low-power electric actuation, which removes the need to vent well gas in upstream applications. And, unlike traditional dump valves, they are fugitive-emissions-free by design because they have no valve packing.

With precise control, ASCO electric dump valves actuate in 50 to 75 milliseconds compared to conventional valves that take several seconds, thus virtually eliminating any chance of gas blowby. This helped Laramie Energy better maintain the static pressure of their vessels which ultimately led to an increase in natural gas production. The valves also use 1.2 watts (W) of energy compared to a conventional electric retrofit kit that uses 96 W, reducing valve power usage by 98.75%.

“Though initially designed for legacy well sites, these fully electric dump valves can help oil and gas companies achieve compliance and avoid red tape on both newly drilled production sites and existing production sites to meet new standards,” said Michael Land, sales development manager with Emerson’s discrete automation business. “Our solution provides a cost-effective, maintenance-free alternative to meet compliance when compared to other solutions like instrument air, nitrogen and electric retrofit kits.”

Laramie Energy focuses on developing unconventional oil and gas reserves within the Rocky Mountains, operating roughly 1,500 wells. The company installed ASCO electric dump valves in newly drilled wells while updating its legacy wells with the solution. Beyond ensuring compliance, the valves have provided additional benefits, including less maintenance and greater well efficiency.

Apoi, mergi la Dispozitive si vezi daca exista vreun backup al iPhone-ului tau in lista. Daca exista, poti vedea data si ora lui.

Pasul 2: Restaureaza datele de pe backup

Daca ai gasit un backup iCloud sau iTunes al datelor de pe iPhone-ul tau, poti restaura datele de pe el pe un alt iPhone sau pe un dispozitiv compatibil. Pentru a face asta, urmeaza pasii de mai jos:

Pentru a restaura datele de pe un backup iTunes, asigura-te ca ai instalat cea mai recenta versiune de iTunes pe computerul tau si ca ai suficient spatiu liber pe dispozitivul pe care vrei sa restaurezi datele. Apoi, conecteaza dispozitivul la computer cu un cablu USB si deschide iTunes. Daca ti se cere, introdu codul de acces al dispozitivului si alege sa ai incredere in computer. Apoi, selecteaza dispozitivul din iTunes si da click pe Restaurati backup. Alege backup-ul dorit din lista si asteapta pana se finalizeaza procesul de restaurare.

The reason of this significant power and torque increase lies in the facts that Case IH Steiger customers are pulling wider and wider implements faster to increase productivity.

HEAVY-DUTY ENGINE FOR HEAVY-DUTY OPERATIONS

The most powerful Steiger ever, available in Quadtrac® configurations, the new Steiger 715 is designed to make the largest fields smaller by covering more acres per hour per day, pulling larger implements faster, delivering more power and increasing both productivity and efficiency.
Pivotal to keeping the promises made to the most demanding farmers is the new 16-liter C16 TST engine tailored for 4WD tractors.
This new top-of-the-range engine, with market leading compactness and power to weight ratio, features proven Cursor engine reliability with robust and lean design and EGR-free combustion, and has been extensively tested for more than 20,000 hours both on the bench and in the field.
In order to guarantee the increased performance required by the new Steiger 715, the new C16 TST has been reinforced in a number of aspects. The EGR-free combustion chamber was improved to allow for an increased maximum pressure up to 220 bar; intermediate cooling together with high torque availability ensures fast load response; while the 2nd generation Common Rail injection system, operating at up to 2,500 bar ensures high engine efficiency and low fluid consumption.
Last but not least, a maintenance-free aftertreatment system without DPF, as well as 600 h oil service intervals, help keep the machine’s operating costs down.
The new C16 TST’s tour across the USA continues at another Farm Progress event, the 2023 Husker Harvest Days, from 12 to 14 September, in Grand Island, Nebraska, where the new engine will again be on show at the Case IH stand.

The new Steiger 715 is not the only recently launched Case IH flagship tractor to be powered by FPT Industrial. Recently unveiled, the Optum 340 CVXDrive with AFS Connect™ puts its trust in the renowned FPT Industrial six-cylinder, 6.7 liter, Stage V N67 engine to meet the requirements of large farms and contractor businesses that need a tractor with high power-to-weight ratio and superior torque, giving it the versatility to perform an enormous variety of demanding field and road tasks with ease, from tillage and seeding to mowing and transport. Incorporating the highly effective and field-proven HI-eSCR2 emissions reduction technology, the FPT Industrial N67 also includes Automatic Productivity Management (APM) which optimizes the CVXDrive ratio and engine speed to suit power output requirements.

Engine power has been increased to 250 kW, a 9% increase in maximum power and torque compared to the previous model, and enabling the use of larger implements or faster working speeds for increased productivity. Maximum cylinder pressure has been increased to 180 bar (+20 bar) for higher combustion efficiency, while the improved design of the pistons, water jacket and conrod bearings is ideal for higher power operations, and the high torque approach with VGT turbocharger allows for fast load response. The EGR-free combustion maximizes power, torque, transient responsiveness, and fuel efficiency.
The new high-capacity filtration system delivers best-in-class service intervals of up to 750 h for maximum uptime, while the maintenance-free after-treatment system keeps running costs at a minimum over the entire service life.

In perioada 20 – 24 iunie 2022, AHK Romania a organizat o delegatie de afaceri pentru companiile germane din domeniul logisticii intermodale. Initiativa de extindere a activitatii acestor companii in Romania face parte din programul Ministerului Federal al Economiei si Protectiei Climatice (BMWK) pentru accesarea unor piete noi pentru IMM-uri germane si se adreseaza firmelor romanesti si germane interesate sa dezvolte afaceri bilaterale in domeniul logisticii intermodale cu accent pe domeniul feroviar & maritim. Scopul este promovarea pe plan local a serviciilor, sistemelor si produselor germane din acest domeniu.

Finalizarea retelei transeuropene de transport (TEN-T) pana in 2030-2050 reprezinta un angajament ferm al UE si joaca un rol esential in asigurarea bunei functionari a pietei interne si in mentinerea competitivitatii globale. World Premieres and Innovations from All Product Brands

For instance, the Mill Assist machine control system now also assures sustainable and efficient machine operation in the new generation of compact milling machines from Wirtgen. With the KMA 240i cold recycling mixing plant, it is now not only possible to produce high-quality mixes from recycled construction materials, but also cement-treated base layers.

That Vögele sees green as much more than the color of the paintwork of its machines, is clearly demonstrated by the company’s new Dash 5 generation of road pavers. Also on display are the SUPER 1900-5(i) and SUPER 2100-5(i) Highway Class pavers and the latest generation of the AB 500 and AB 600 extending screeds.

In the future, electrically-powered HD CompactLine tandem rollers from Hamm can step up to the plate whenever contracts demand zero-emission compaction. The e-tandem rollers are the ideal solution in all areas where compaction work must be particularly quiet. As, in many cases, low vibration levels are also specified, the compaction specialist is also presenting an e-combination roller with oscillation alongside e-vibration and e-oscillation rollers.

The drive system of the new MOBIREX MR 130(i) PRO mobile impact crusher from Kleemann is also fully electric. Thanks to the option for connection to an external power supply, the plant enables materials processing with low energy consumption per ton of the final product.

Among the highlights being shown by Benninghoven is the innovative REVOC system for the sustainable batch production of asphalt in mixing plants. The EVO JET multi-fuel burner can now also generate heat from regenerative fuels such as “Biomass to Liquid” (BtL) and wood dust, both of which have a neutral carbon footprint. Benninghoven also offers electrically heated bitumen tanks for carbon neutral storage of bitumen.

The Wirtgen Group is also showing the iNova 2000 asphalt mixing plant from Ciber for the global market for the first time. Ciber is Latin America’s leading manufacturer of mixing plants for continuous asphalt production. For markets that use both continuous and batch processing, Ciber complements the market-specific asphalt mixing plant portfolio as the sixth product brand of the Wirtgen Group.
