24th BUILDEX Opens its Doors in Damascus: a High-Potential Commerce Hub Attracting the Global Construction Sector  

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment, the 24th edition of BUILDEX – International Construction Exhibition, recognized as the leading and most influential building, infrastructure, and design trade show in Syria and the region, officially opens today at the Damascus International Fairground.

Running from June 10 to 14, 2026, the exhibition is organized by Pyramids Group and AGE. Held under the slogan “From the Beginning to a New Beginning,” BUILDEX 2026 marks a new phase of reconstruction, development, economic activity, and international cooperation in Syria.

Standing as the cornerstone of the regional construction calendar, BUILDEX expands this year across an area exceeding 140,000 square meters. The exhibition brings together more than 700 prominent local, regional, and international companies, representing over 1,400 national and global brands operating across construction, engineering, real estate development, infrastructure, building technologies, and related sectors.

This year’s edition reflects the strong international standing of BUILDEX and the growing confidence in the Syrian market, attracting participation from 51 countries around the world. Key participating countries include Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, the United States, India, Kuwait, Lebanon, Germany, Greece, Austria, Libya, Denmark, Iraq, Algeria, and Switzerland.

The exhibition also features official participation from Italy through a national pavilion hosting a number of Italian companies, alongside a significant Chinese presence represented by two full halls, in addition to wide participation from Syrian companies and institutions.
