PASCHAL is continuing to rigorously develop its tried-and-tested LOGO.3 wall formwork and will be switching in future to high-quality hot-dip galvanising and passivation for its steel frames. This means that users benefit from formwork that is even more robust and durable, and ideally suited to withstanding the demanding conditions of a building site.

Formwork systems are subjected to high loads in day-to-day use. Transport, storage, cleaning and contact with concrete and tools place considerable strain on the steel frames in particular. By switching to hot-dip galvanised frames and passivation, PASCHAL is enhancing the durability of its LOGO.3 wall formwork and creating added value for its customers. Passivation during galvanising acts as an additional chemical protective barrier for the zinc coating, drastically slowing down the reaction between the zinc and oxygen and moisture. Whilst the galvanising process itself protects the steel, the wafer-thin passivation layer prevents the zinc from wearing away too quickly.
