TII SCHEUERLE Drives forward the Continued development of the SPMT

0

TII SCHEUERLE, the world’s leading manufacturer and inventor of the Self Propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT), is continuing to expand the technological leadership of its flagship product. Following on from past innovations such as the telematic and fleet management system, SCHEUERLE Connect, the company has now unveiled a range of new digital and safety-related features.

COG Easy Mode – centre of gravity control made easy

The new COG Easy Mode system makes it easier for users to assess complex load conditions. Through the direct visualisation of tipping lines on the vehicle display, the centre of gravity of the loaded SPMT is monitored at all times. In conjunction with SCHEUERLE Connect, relevant status information can also be recorded and evaluated. If suitably equipped, live transmission of the display content is also possible. This reduces the risk of the vehicle tipping over, protects against potential structural damage and increases operational safety. Users thus receive an intuitive tool that makes a shift in load situations visually apparent thereby ensuring a greater level of safety in the overall system.

TPMS – real‑time tyre pressure monitoring

The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) continuously monitors the tyre pressure of all SPMT modules in real time. Pressure deviations are immediately detected and visualised directly on the display of the respective module as well as via SCHEUERLE Connect. This largely eliminates the need for manual inspections, reduces set-up times and improves the overall lifespan of the tyres because they are continuously kept within the optimal operating window. Drivers and fleet managers are therefore provided with reliable transparency regarding the condition of their tyres whilst simultaneously enhancing safety levels during daily use.

Customer-performed Over-the‑Air (OTA) software updates – flexible, fast and without any downtime

By enabling users to carry out software updates independently, TII SCHEUERLE has simplified the software maintenance of SPMT vehicles. Updates are delivered over-the-air and can easily be installed regardless of location, infrastructure, or service hours. This allows vehicles to continuously receive new features and improvements even after delivery without requiring an on-site service technician. New features and important updates are immediately available without requiring vehicles to be taken out of service for any length of time. This ensures that the SPMT remains sustainably up-to-date.

SCHEUERLE Connect integration

All new features of the current release can be fully integrated into SCHEUERLE Connect (already included the Advanced Package and upwards) and are therefore part of TII SCHEUERLE`s digital machine cloud. As a result, this allows all relevant operational data of the new features to be centrally viewed, analysed and evaluated in the long term. Whether it’s the centre of gravity in COG Easy Mode or tyre pressure values from the TPMS: users gain complete transparency regarding relevant vehicle and condition data thus creating the basis for permanently safe and efficient operation.

Always one step ahead

With the new range of functions, TII SCHEUERLE continues the consistent development of the SPMT. The focus is very much on safety, efficiency and practicality. Operators are investing in a modern transport solution that is being continuously expanded and further developed – with the aim of being reliably one step ahead today and in the future.
