0

Palazzani Industrie will attend the 10th edition of GIS 2025 – Giornate Italiane del Sollevamento e dei Trasporti Eccezionali, the leading Italian trade show dedicated to lifting and heavy transport, taking place in Piacenza from September 25th to 27th.

At our booth, visitors will discover four Spider Lift models, carefully selected to best represent the values that have always defined Palazzani’s identity: manufacturing quality, technological innovation, compactness, versatility, sustainability, and reliability. The models on display will be:

  • TZJ 160 – to be delivered to our customer RB Costruzioni in Sesto Fiorentino (FI)
  • TZJ 180 – available in petrol, diesel, Eco, and Eco Pro versions
  • TZX 250 – a lightweight and versatile platform, among the most appreciated by rental companies, also available with an optional 250 kg hydraulic winch
  • XTJ 52+ ECO – the highest model in our ECO range, equipped with a Type 2 charging socket

TZJ 160 & TZJ 180: small outside, big inside

After their debut at Bauma 2025, the new TZJ 160 and TZJ 180 will be presented for the first time in Italy. We are talking about the two new models that are the perfect combination of compact design, high performance, and ease of use.

With working heights of 16 and 18 meters and respective outreaches of 7.5 and 8 meters, they offer a basket capacity of 230 kg, ideal for two operators with tools.

The minimum undercarriage width (without basket) of just 0.78 m allows easy passage through doors, standard gateways, and narrow corridors, a particularly valuable feature in urban areas, historical centers, indoor jobs, or environments with critical accessibility. At the same time, the variable-width tracks, extendable up to 0.96 m, ensure a wider footprint and optimal stability when moving even on sloping or uneven surfaces.

Despite their robust structure ensured by high-strength Strenx steel, the TZJ models stand out for their light weight: only 2,415 kg for the TZJ 160 and 2,515 kg for the petrol version of the TZJ 180. This allows transport on a light trailer, making the machines immediately operational once on site, simplifying logistics and ensuring readiness for work as soon as they arrive.

Structurally, both models adopt a double articulated telescopic boom with jib, a technical solution particularly suited for overcoming architectural or environmental obstacles thanks to its notable up-and-over clearance and movement capability in confined spaces. The jib, fully orientable and managed by proportional controls, enables precise positioning, proving especially useful in finishing work or in the presence of structural barriers. The absence of under-basket encumbrance also allows smooth up-and-over movements, further expanding the working envelope and facilitating operator entry/exit.

True to Palazzani’s philosophy, the TZJ range was designed to be simple and intuitive.

Operatively, the TZJs are geometric machines without outreach limiters: this means that operators can always exploit the entire available working area, regardless of basket load, as long as within the rated capacity. The wired or radio controls (identical both on the ground and in the basket) were designed to ensure maximum intuitiveness. Being electro-hydraulic machines, they allow the operator to perform all movements (driving, stabilizers, aerial operations).

Equipped with an integrated mini-display, they provide real-time information on stabilizer status, machine inclination, undercarriage position, turret angle, sensor status, and other essential diagnostic parameters. This user-friendly interface allows even less experienced operators to use the machine safely and immediately.

To further simplify usage, these models – like the entire Palazzani range – are equipped with QR codes providing access to manuals, electrical/hydraulic diagrams, spare parts catalogues, easy-use videos, and emergency tutorials.

From an environmental and sustainability perspective, Palazzani has gone beyond expectations, offering a full range of power options designed to suit different operational needs:

  • Standard versions:
    • Honda i-GX 390 petrol engine (8.7 kW)
    • Kubota diesel engine (10.6 kW)
  • Optional electric motor:
    • Single-phase motor 230 V – 2.2 kW or 110 V – 1.1 kW depending on market, for indoor use
  • ECO version:
    • 5 kW electric motor with 5.6 kWh LiFePO4 battery (48 V – 110 Ah)
  • ECO PRO version:
    • 5 kW electric motor with 11.2 kWh LiFePO4 battery (48 V – 220 Ah), for extended autonomy
  • In development:
    • HYBRID DUAL version, combining petrol engine, electric motor, and LiFePO4 battery to merge autonomy with sustainability

The TZJ 160 and 180 perfectly fit into a wide variety of applications:

  • Civil and industrial construction
  • Restoration and renovation in historical centers
  • Green maintenance
  • Trade shows and events setup
  • Airports, theatres, tunnels, sports facilities, and logistics centers

The option to replace the basket with a lifting hook up to 260 kg further expands the applications, making the TZJs ideal also for material handling at height.

ECO as a concrete choice: the XTJ 52+ 100% electric

One of the main highlights at Palazzani’s stand at GIS 2025 will be the XTJ 52+ ECO, the highest fully electric Spider Lift in the range.

Reaching 52 m of working height and a maximum outreach of 19.5 m, the XTJ 52+ ECO combines outstanding operational performance with optimized working autonomy, thanks to the latest-generation LiFePO4 battery (48 V – 570 Ah / 29.1 kWh). Its compact design ensures smooth maneuverability even in tight spaces, while its robust structure and integrated technologies guarantee safety and efficiency.

The real innovation that makes this model especially appealing for operators and rental companies is the intelligent charging system with Type 2 socket: a technology derived from the automotive industry, allowing fast, safe, and flexible charging. This system enables recharging both at public stations and through dedicated site installations – even while operating – significantly reducing downtime and ensuring continuous productivity, even during long shifts.

With zero emissions and ultra-quiet operation, the XTJ 52+ ECO is particularly suitable for work in sensitive environments such as historical centers, hospitals, tunnels, or production areas with environmental restrictions.

Showcasing the XTJ 52+ ECO at GIS means reaffirming Palazzani’s message that sustainability is not just a promise, but a concrete solution, already available and able to meet the needs of a constantly evolving industry.

TZX 250 Spider Lift: lightness that surprises

Also on display at Palazzani’s booth at GIS 2025 will be the TZX 250 Spider Lift, a compact and lightweight aerial platform designed to deliver high performance in any operating condition. This machine represents a perfect balance of structural agility and working capacity, making it a versatile and highly appreciated solution both for professional operators and rental companies.

Its two-section articulated and telescopic aluminium boom enables operation up to 25 m in height, with 10.6 m outreach and 250 kg basket capacity. The dual stabilization mode, wide or narrow, ensures flexible use in different environments while maintaining simplicity and speed of setup. The non-marking tracks make it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications, such as gardening or building maintenance.

An additional advantage is the option to configure the platform with a 250 kg hydraulic winch, which transforms it, when required, into an efficient material lifting machine.
