New Division targets Growth in the Scissor Lift and Boom Lift Markets with Global Manufacturing and Expanded Product Portfolio
Noblelift, a global leader in material handling equipment, proudly marks its 25th anniversary with the strategic expansion of its new Powered Access Division. The announcement was made during a press conference at the Bauma show this April and highlighted the company’s commitment to long-term investment in the powered access equipment sector and international growth.
“While Noblelift is a household name in material handling, the Powered Access Division is a fresh and ambitious addition,” said Tim Whitman, CEO of the Access Division. “Our goal is to become a significant player in this industry, building on the company’s strong foundation, global infrastructure with sales in 120 countries, and extensive manufacturing experience.”
Founded in 1996 by George Ding, Noblelift has grown into a US$1 billion global company, listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and led today by CEO Wendy Mao. With a workforce of over 5,000 employees and subsidiaries in Germany, France, the USA, South Korea, Malaysia, and Vietnam, Noblelift already boasts a formidable international presence and earns its revenue primarily from export sales.
New Access Division: Focused Expansion, Global reach & Regional Customization
The new division’s initial product range includes six electric scissor lifts—five of which were showcased at Bauma. However, this is just the beginning. Technical Director Bryan Tang outlined the roadmap for future development, which includes:
- A full line of scissor lifts ranging from 5m/16ft to 16m/53ft working height
- Upcoming electric articulating booms 11m/36ft and 16m/53ft models in testing
- Future models such as telescopic and spider lifts already in development
Noblelift’s current range of scissor lifts offers customers a broad selection of configurations designed to suit regional preferences and brand specifications. Units can be customized with hydraulic, DC, or AC drive systems, providing flexibility depending on operational needs and local market expectations. Battery options include lead-acid, AGM, or advanced lithium—each selected based on the customer’s desired balance of cost, performance, and longevity.
Noblelift’s scissor lifts are lightweight yet robust, available for indoor or outdoor use, with platform heights ranging from 3m to 14m/10ft to 47ft. Platform capacities vary from 200kg/441lb to 450kg/992lb and total machine weights from 520kg/1145 lb to 3,375kg/7,440lb. All are carefully engineered to meet transport and usage requirements across job sites.
Leveraging Lithium Expertise Across Divisions
Noblelift brings its proprietary Lithium battery technology—proven through decades of leadership in the material handling sector—into the access equipment segment. Already trusted in forklifts and pallet trucks, these advanced lithium systems now power our scissor lifts with the same reliability and performance. The benefits are compelling: up to three times the lifespan of lead-acid batteries, and full opportunity charging that minimizes downtime. With no maintenance requirements and our lithium power solutions offer maximum uptime, enhanced safety, and a lower total cost of ownership.
This technological continuity ensures compatibility across product lines and reinforces Noblelift’s ability to deliver dependable, high-performance solutions – whether lifting pallets or personnel.
The access range now debuts under its own dedicated brand, carrying forward the innovation and expertise that define Noblelift.
Private Label Heritage and Global Vision
Noblelift has a rich history of private label manufacturing, with thousands of electric scissor lifts and other handling products produced for major industry players. While many of these partnerships remain confidential, Noblelift’s capabilities are already integrated into various global brands.
“We are not just another small company entering the access equipment market,” said Eric Zhu, International Sales Director. “We’ve been manufacturing access equipment for over 13 years, and we’re now taking it to the next level with our own branded initiative”.
All current powered access products are manufactured at Noblelift’s dedicated facility in Malaysia, with additional capacity available in China. These factories have been operational for over a decade and are strategically positioned to navigate global trade regulations. Noblelift emphasized that the expansion into powered access is part of a long-term strategy.
Future Investments and Market Strategy
Noblelift’s investment in the access division will be “step-by-step and unlimited as needed,” according to Whiteman, with expansion plans that include potential manufacturing in Europe. The company is actively exploring options to localize production and support for major markets including the EU and the U.S.
With a clear vision and robust infrastructure, Noblelift is building an independent network of distributors and service support teams for access equipment, leveraging its decades of global export experience.
The event concluded with a product showcase and a preview of the upcoming product map. For more information about Noblelift and their product offerings, please visit their official website and contact
