Howard Dale, President of LiuGong Europe, Receives the Guangxi Golden Silkball Friendship Award from the People’s Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region
Howard Dale, President of LiuGong Europe, has been awarded the prestigious Guangxi Golden Silkball Friendship Award by the People’s Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The award is one of Guangxi’s highest honours for international experts and leaders who have made exceptional contributions to regional development, industrial cooperation, and cultural exchange.
Since joining LiuGong in 2014, Mr Dale has worked closely with teams in Europe and Guangxi to strengthen the company’s presence across mature European markets. This collaboration has shaped LiuGong Europe into a structured, customer-focused, and market-driven organisation with an increasingly strong dealer network and growing confidence from key customers. Through joint efforts between the European team and headquarters, LiuGong has advanced European product readiness, aligned market needs with global product planning, and enhanced cross-border communication.
A significant milestone in this cooperation has been the successful transition of the Dressta dozer production from Poland to Changzhou, ensuring complete alignment in development, quality, competitiveness, and long-term strategy across LiuGong’s global product lines. Another significant achievement has been the launch and acceleration of LiuGong’s Battery-Electric (BEV) programme in Europe, where coordinated efforts between Liuzhou and the European teams have positioned LiuGong as a pioneer in sustainable construction equipment across key European markets.
The Guangxi Golden Silkball Friendship Award recognises not only Mr. Dale’s contribution but also the shared commitment of LiuGong teams across regions to international partnership, technology advancement, and mutual development between Europe and Guangxi.
