We are an integral partner of mobile power solutions for companies looking for efficiency and safety in their fleets”, adds Francisco Gracia, President and CEO of HIMOINSA.

Connectivity and remote equipment management

Development of new electronic systems integrating hardware, software and firmware for the design of smart control systems for its equipment. The company’s goal is to develop increasingly smart solutions that allow its customers’ business to grow, so after the launch of the CET8 control unit for its lighting towers, the company is now incorporating the new CE8 family of controllers that will be launched at Bauma. The CEM8 and CEA8 smart control systems have been designed to optimise generator sets operation and maximise the user experience thanks to their IoT connectivity capabilities and their integration with the HG Web platform, offering an efficient solution for the remote monitoring and control of the equipment fleet.

  • Monitoring: Through the HG WEB platform, integrated in the ‘NEURON’ service, users can monitor the performance of the equipment, check key indicators such as fuel, battery, real-time location…
  • Management: Each equipment allows remote management by making easy to access to the software of each controller, setting up the parameters desired by the user in real time.
  • Operational safety: Integral alert and notification systems guarantee that any incident or breakdown is detected and managed immediately.

Its commitment to provide increasingly connected equipment, intuitive interfaces and ease of use to industry is also in line with its roadmap towards electrification, driving the development of hybrid power solutions, battery storage and microgrids. In this context, smart control systems are becoming the cornerstone of every new product development, as proven by HICORE, the smart control unit for its battery storage systems (EHR), which visitors will also be able to see at Bauma.

Sustainability and carbon footprint reduction | Electrification and Energy Mix

HIMOINSA continues to focus on the combination of different technologies and alternative fuels for its equipment in order to offer sustainable solutions. Power generation with LPG, generators prepared for the use of hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), diesel with Stage V technology (Europe) and Tier4 (North America), and future power generation with hydrogen on which its parent company Yanmar is already working, who will introduce at Bauma its prototype engine with hydrogen for off-road application (4TN101).

In parallel, HIMOINSA continues its electrification strategy with the development of battery storage systems and a product roadmap that includes the development of equipment up to 2MW, as part of its global commitment “Yanmar Green Challenge 2050”, towards a low-emission society.

Industry demands profitability in its operations

HIMOINSA’s Mobile Power equipment has been designed to optimise the customer’s operations, maximising their profitability. Robust equipment, capable of withstanding long working periods, with low operating costs and high residual value. „We are aware that the construction and rental industry demands a product with long service intervals, easy to maintain and quick serviceability. Therefore, we are working on a global service strategy with a strong focus on accessibility to spare parts and training plans for our customers’ technical staff,” explains Manuel Aguilera, who has been Global Service Director since 2024, one of the moves made by the company as part of its customer centric strategy and its commitment to providing comprehensive customer service.

What products will HIMOINSA present at Bauma?

Stage V Generators

Being a benchmark in the supply of S5 generator sets in Europe, HIMOINSA has been one of the first manufacturers to develop a complete range of S5 generators (17-550 kVA) with gas after-treatment systems to drastically reduce particulate and nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions, complying with the standards in environmental regulation. All HIMOINSA S5 generator sets are certified to operate with HVO and are operating in a multitude of applications and events in Europe.

Bauma’s visitors will be able to learn more about the advantages of equipment that incorporates options to ensure maximum efficiency. Functionalities such as Dummy load that guarantees the operational stability of the generator in low load conditions, optimising its performance; engine pre-heating system that guarantees fast and reliable starts; integrated AdBlue tanks for extended operation without any interruption and robust designs that make them easy to transport and handle, especially in rental fleets.

HGY Series | Maximum power for long term rental solutions

HIMOINSA has recently introduced the HGY series, Yanmar-powered generator sets ranging from 1250 kVA to 4000 kVA and is currently ready to run on alternative fuels such as hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), and in the future will operate on gas or hydrogen.

HIMOINSA and Yanmar’s commitment is to offer a reliable power solution for 24/7 operations. The key has been the development of an engine of maximum efficiency and performance that is positioned in the market as best-in-class in terms of fuel consumption, which allows to reduce operating costs to the maximum, mainly in construction, mining, events…, where the equipment operates continuously. The Yanmar GY engine incorporates a common rail fuel injection system and high-pressure pump and ensures high power density while offering exceptional performance in terms of emissions, which has a large impact on the overall carbon footprint over its lifetime

Visitors to Bauma will be able to see the HGY-2600 D5 (PRP: 1880Kw/2350Kva and ESP: 2097Kw/2621Kva) in a 40ft container. This equipment combines robustness, efficiency and sustainability and has been designed to meet the most demanding standards in terms of emissions, incorporating an advanced after-treatment system in compliance with DEFRA regulations (<190mg/Nm3 of NOx), being able to operate with HVO100, significantly reducing the carbon footprint.

Diesel and hybrid lighting towers

Versatility, robustness, LED technology and lighting capacity: these are the advantages of the HBOX+, HBOX+ Hybrid and HCOMPACT+ lighting towers. A complete product portfolio that meets the needs of each application and guarantees durability and efficiency in their operations. With low fuel consumption, high autonomy and long service intervals, HIMOINSA lighting towers incorporate innovative connectivity features and an efficient Yanmar two-cylinder engine. Mobile and static units are available, as well as diesel and hybrid versions ideal for events and residential areas where emissions regulations demand sustainable and low-noise equipment.

New Battery Power Generator – EHR 90/130
