Enjoy the outdoors under a patio cover all year round while enjoying the comfort of indoors. This comfort can also include lighting, both for ambiance and function. With the new Kreon spotlights that have been tailor-made for Renson patio covers, you can now apply the same lighting concepts you have inside to your outdoor living space.

In addition to mood lighting, you will soon be able to enjoy the convenience of directional spotlights under the latest Renson patio cover. This is the result of a great collaboration with Belgian lighting manufacturer and NOA partner, Kreon. “We adapted a number of our existing indoor spotlights for outdoor use (IP67). In addition, we provided a specific, tailor-made mounting for the Renson canopy covers,” explains Philippe van Doormaal, marketing manager of Kreon. “Renson coats the aluminium housing in the same colour as the canopy. This means it fits the overall picture perfectly.”

The spotlights can be dimmed or redirected via the Renson Connect app or the Somfy app, which you can also use to control the roof blades, LED lighting, audio and heating under your outdoor living space. “Installation into the canopy rail system ensures the spotlight can be effortlessly shifted and directed in detail as desired. Control via the app contributes to ease-of-use,” says Renson product manager Sue Deloore. The arm of the spotlight can rotate 360° around the upper hinge in the rail, while the spotlight itself has a rotation angle of 150° around the lower hinge. Unprecedented freedom for targeted lighting.

Patio cover and storage in one Stylish, quickly installed

Thanks to a prefab system for fixed walls with an integrated door, it has never been easier to combine Renson Algarve with a storage shed. The choice of how to finish the walls of that shed is entirely yours: simply use either vertical aluminium Linarte profiles or wooden blades. The result is a harmonious and practical outdoor space that can function as a patio cover with storage space, a carport with an adjoining shed, or a pool house with a utility room for all the accessories you need.

With a shed finished in vertical aluminium Linarte blades by Renson, you’re extending the same, uniform look across your entire patio cover or carport: a sleek finish in the same colour that is easy to maintain. Aside from the basic structure for the prefab walls, Renson also supplies the horizontal mullions, mounting clips, and custom-made profiles you need to help you finish your project using this façade cladding system. All that’s left for you to do to achieve the perfect finish is screw and click everything into place on-site.

If wood is chosen, the basic structure for the storage walls, the support profile, and the drip nose are custom-made in the Renson workshops. That just leaves the wood itself, which is to be ordered by the installer. The prefab wall can be combined with any type of wood and profile shape. QuickClip wooden façade cladding by Carpentier is the best choice for optimal ease of use. This system is perfectly compatible with our prefab wall structure, reducing installation time to a minimum.

Six new fabrics give sliding panels more cachet

New Loggia Canvas sliding panels strengthen Renson design styles

Renson stands for personal designs with tailor-made configuration. The many options for a patio cover under which to enjoy outdoor living contribute to this. High-quality manufacturers such as 2TEC2 strengthen that mission. The result of the collaboration between Renson and 2TEC2 has produced six new fabrics for the Loggia Canvas sliding panels, an expansion of the already wide range of wall inserts for the various Renson canopy covers.

Renson and 2TEC2 are no strangers to one another. Working as NOA partners, they have already enjoyed a great journey together. “We developed a specific fabric for each of the six design styles for the Renson patio covers, which supports and reinforces the overall picture. They give the outdoor Loggia Canvas sliding panels more cachet,” explains Thomas Vanthiegem of 2TEC2. These fabrics are slightly coarser, and therefore look more natural and cosy. Their durable materials and high UV resistance guarantee a long lifespan and they are 100% recyclable.

Surrounded by specialists

The new collaboration nicely illustrates how specialists in their field can strengthen each other. Sue Deloore, product manager at Renson: “We already had canvas fabrics for our Loggia panels, but they did not quite match our design styles. Instead of using our own people for this, we thought it would be better to leave it to an expert in the field. NOA partner 2TEC2 was the perfect partner to help us with this. The results speak for themselves.”
