HİDROMEK will Attract Attention in Spain with its Products that Reflect the Latest Technology

The countdown has begun for the SMOPYC 2026 Fair, held every three years in Zaragoza, Spain. At this event, taking place from 15 to 18 April, HİDROMEK will be showcasing innovative models from various product ranges alongside its eye-catching new technologies. Furthermore, HİDROMEK’s HMK 635 WL autonomous wheel loader, which received an award in the “Technology and Digitalization” category from the fair organization, will also be on display here.

Spain stands out as one of the leading markets in the European construction equipment sector. For HİDROMEK, it is not only a key commercial market but also one of its priority markets where the company maintains a strong presence through its local operations. HİDROMEK is preparing to participate in SMOPYC 2026, one of the industry’s most important events in the region, held in Spain which is a market where the company has secured a significant share and a competitive position.

Held every three years in this region, which plays a key role in the company’s export strategies, the trade show drew significant attention during its previous edition in 2023, attracting approximately 1,000 exhibitors and 51,000 visitors. SMOPYC 2026, which will take place this year at Feria de Zaragoza across an area of approximately 85,000 square meters, will open its doors to visitors from April 15–18. HİDROMEK will be located at stand 1-23 in Hall 8.

HİDROMEK will participate in SMOPYC 2026 through HİDROMEK WEST, a Barcelona-based company it established to manage sales, after-sales services, and its dealer network in the region. The company’s stand will attract attention with a wide variety of machinery from different product groups. HİDROMEK stand will also feature new models and the latest technological advancements offering new experiences in the use of construction machinery.

HİDROMEK’S STAND DRAWS ATTENTION WITH ITS VARIETY

At the fair, HİDROMEK will showcase its HMK 145 LC SR, HMK 230 NLC, HMK 310 LC LR, and HMK 360 NLC crawler excavator models. Additionally, the new additions to HİDROMEK’s excavator product line, HMK 210 LC and the HMK 235 LCR, which combines power and flexibility with its short counterweight design, will also be on display at the company’s stand.

Alongside HMK 102 S Alpha and HMK 102 B Supra from HİDROMEK’s K4 Series backhoe loaders, HMK 62 T and HMK 62 SS mini backhoe loaders, which have recently transitioned to this series to achieve a much more durable, safe, and comfortable design, will also be on display at SMOPYC 2026. HİDROMEK K4 Series mini backhoe loader group demonstrates its distinction not only in terms of performance but also in design, as evidenced by the German Design, Good Design, and Red Dot design awards it has won.

HMK 635 WL wheel loader, a reliable choice for heavy-duty applications, will also be on display at the fair. HMK 280 MG, one of the newest additions to the motor grader lineup, will make its debut at SMOPYC, while HMK 600 MG motor grader and HMK 130 CS soil compactor will also be available for viewing at the HİDROMEK stand.

AWARD-WINNING TECHNOLOGIES AND MORE AT SMOPYC 2026

HİDROMEK booth will be a standout exhibit not only for its machines but also for its technological equipment. Teleopera system, developed by HİDROMEK for its remotely controlled and semi-autonomous machines, will also be on display at the company’s SMOPYC stand. Teleopera system, which features a seat equipped with the joysticks and various hardware needed to control the machine on-site, as well as screens that provide real-time monitoring of images from cameras on the machine and data from radar, lidar, and other sensors, will serve as a reflection of HİDROMEK’s vision for the future at the fair. Furthermore, during the fair, the Teleopera system located at the exhibition site in Zaragoza will be used to control a machine operating in Ankara in real time.

Another new technology to be showcased at the fair, HMK 635 WL, is an autonomous wheel loader. Developed in collaboration between HİDROMEK and the Aragon Institute of Technology (Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón), this model minimizes risk by enabling autonomous control in challenging and hazardous work sites. This technology enables unmanned operation in environments where dust levels may be high and visibility is limited, such as tunnels or blast sites, aiming to significantly enhance operational safety and efficiency.

With its HMK 635 WL autonomous wheel loader, HİDROMEK was awarded first place in the “Technology and Digitalization” category of the “Technical Innovations” competition organized by the SMOPYC Organization. The competition’s award ceremony will take place on the first day of the fair.

HİDROMEK is also preparing to showcase its new technology, which will redefine the operator experience in the backhoe loader range, at SMOPYC and future trade shows. This feature, offering unprecedented levels of productivity and ease of use, will be unveiled to visitors for the first time in Spain.
