What: Platt Boyd, CEO of Branch Technology, will present at the Tech Talks track at ConExpo Las Vegas. The session titled, “3D Printing Buildings – Current Possibilities & Future Implications,” will provide an update about the world’s first freeform 3D printed home in Chattanooga, TN. Boyd will also discuss how the project embodies a new direction in the construction industry: one that not only adapts to new technology, but embraces it.

About: Designed by WATG and printed using Branch Technologies’ Freeformä printing process, Curve Appeal is the world’s first 3D printed freeform home located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The site is steps away from the Tennessee River, allowing the home to blend seamlessly into the environment, while being naturally shaded and protected from solar radiation.
Scheduled to open in late 2020/early 2021, Curve Appeal sets the standard for the next step in the world of modern residential design and trailblazes a new chapter for sustainable living. The home opens the door for what is possible in architecture, leveraging 3D printed technology to unleash unlimited design possibilities.
