Battery One: Proven in the Field

Battery One has become a leading battery standard for construction equipment, symbolizing easy and customer-centric electrification. This multi-vendor interchangeable battery system brings flexibility, cost efficiency and ease of handling to the construction site. The Battery One battery can be used in over 50 different pieces of equipment from manufacturers including Wacker Neuson, Bomag, Mikasa, Swepac, Dynapac, Enar and Schwamborn.
Battery One is an all-inclusive battery system that comes with a choice of three different power classes (500 Wh, 1000 Wh and 1400 Wh), a standard charger, a fast charger and a UN-certified transport box. Battery One can be used in internal vibrator systems for concrete consolidation, concrete and screed trowels, wall and ceiling grinders, single-direction and reversible vibratory plates, round plates and battery-powered rammers from several different manufacturers. Upcoming additions to the portfolio of supported products will give customers even more flexibility in their choice of construction equipment.

Forward and backward compatibility means that Battery One supports different generations within equipment families. Battery software can be updated over Bluetooth® using the Battery One app (Apple and Android). The app also gives a single point of access to battery health data such as its status, capacity, real-time usage and error messages. In addition, the battery’s firmware can be updated.

The Battery One portfolio is being further expanded to include manufacturers in the construction and gardening sectors, thus bringing the benefits of Battery One to an even wider group of customers. This move is making battery-powered construction equipment an increasingly attractive option for customers, who will only need to invest in one battery and charger to power an ever-growing portfolio of products.
