LiuGong, a global leader in construction machinery and electrified equipment solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of MAXSUS AS as its new authorised dealer in Norway.  MAXSUS AS is a newly established company under Ultimax Holding AS, created to address Norway’s accelerating regulatory and environmental transition toward emission-free construction. Although recently formed, MAXSUS AS is supported operationally by its sister company, Hymax AS, which provides established infrastructure, technical expertise, and financial strength to ensure a stable and scalable operating model.

Headquartered in Indre Østfold, MAXSUS AS will focus on the sale and promotion of electric and sustainable construction machinery, supporting contractors across Norway in their transition to low- and zero-emission operations.

 Through this partnership, MAXSUS AS gains access to one of the industry’s most comprehensive portfolios of factory-built electric construction equipment line-ups. LiuGong’s electric range includes compact excavators, wheel loaders, and larger machines for demanding applications, all designed as integrated BEV platforms rather than retrofitted conversions.

LiuGong machines are supported directly by the manufacturer through spare parts supply, structured warranties, and technical support, ensuring long-term customer confidence.

Structured and Scalable Market Approach

To ensure efficient market coverage and high service standards, MAXSUS AS will work closely with Hymax AS, which will be responsible for warehousing, service operations, and aftermarket support in cooperation with selected service partners. This structure enables MAXSUS AS to focus on sales development and customer relationships while ensuring high machine uptime and rapid technical response throughout the product lifecycle.

As part of its market introduction, MAXSUS AS will maintain a stock of selected electric LiuGong models under 10 tonnes to ensure short delivery times and strong availability. Larger machines will be supplied directly from the factory, tailored to project-specific requirements.
