Due to COVID restrictions and after carefull consideration of the situation in Europe it was decided to postpone the C4E Forum 2020 till after the summer period. The place, tranquil mountain resort – Poiana Brasov, stays the same but the new date of the event is 12-15 October (Monday to Friday).
What is the C4E Forum?
The C4E Forum – Central & Eastern European Energy Efficiency Forum is a biennial conference dedicated to energy efficiency in the CEE region. Launched in 2016 in Balchik, Bulgaria, and continued in 2018 in Serock, Poland, the event was welcomed by the CEE energy efficiency community as a much-needed opportunity to discuss policies, share solutions and network.

Who will participate?
The first two editions were attended by representatives from governments, businesses, civic society, NGOs, think-tanks, financial institutions and trade associations operating in the CEE region. The C4E Forum 2020 edition aims at delivering a similar audience to create an ideal environment for productive discussions and networking.

What topics will be dicussed?
The opening high level plenary will be a possibility to hear the representatives of Governments from CEE countries and international/EU institutions discuss the topic The Green Deal: How do we make it work for the CEE buildings?
During the second plenary the hot topic to be discussed will be sustainability and the title of the session – Towards Sustainable Development: From high level policies to real-world investments. We invited Speakers representing the EU level, national government and local authorities as well as stakeholders from the financial sector.
The Panel sessions will be dedicated to experts and practitioners speaking about e.g. Capacity building (e.g. qualification/training) and awareness rising, alleviating energy poverty through building renovation and ensuring a just energy transition, Financing renovation of building stock (e.g. renovation programmes, ETS revenues) and other tocpis – https://c4eforum.net/panel-sessions-2020
