HİDROMEK has been recognized with the iF Design Award, one of the world’s most prestigious design awards, for its new telehandler model HMK 18-40 TH. With this award, HİDROMEK has increased its total number of international design awards to 39 and its number of iF Design Awards to 13.
The iF Design Awards, which cover many criteria, are evaluated by an independent jury consisting of 129 leading international design and sustainability experts. In the competition, where candidates are reviewed holistically, considering factors such as sustainability, innovation, and functionality, HİDROMEK’s new telehandler model HMK 18-40 TH won the iF Design Winner Award.

With a maximum reach of 18 meters and a maximum lifting capacity of 4 tons, this model provides benefits in construction work, agricultural activities, logistics, and many other areas.

About HİDROMEK
HİDROMEK, a globally known manufacturer of construction machinery, was founded in Ankara in 1978. The founder of HİDROMEK, Hasan Basri Bozkurt, started with producing attachments for agricultural tractors.
This initiative was moved further in the following years and the first construction machine ever designed by Turkish engineers was produced. The product range was expanded in time, which led to the growth of HİDROMEK. Today, HİDROMEK has more than 2400 employees. Backhoe loaders, hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, motor graders and soil compactors are manufactured in seven production facilities including 5 factories in Ankara, 1 factory in İzmir and 1 factory in Thailand. The construction of the new production facility located in an area of 1.4 million m2 in Ankara has been continuing. In the component factory located in the production base, the main components such as transmission, axle, hydraulic reducer and hydraulic cylinder are largely manufactured internally.
HİDROMEK, whose machines work in more than 130 countries in 6 continents, established HİDROMEK WEST in Barcelona, Spain and HİDROMEK JAPAN in Sagamihara, Japan to carry out authorized dealer management, sales and after-sales services abroad and HİDROMEK HCE in Chonburi, Thailand to carry out production.

HİDROMEK is the first and only Turkish machinery manufacturer which is on the ‘Yellow Table’ list of media institution KHL Group, which provides information to the whole world in respect of construction machinery and sets a reference for the whole industry, and the list contains the largest construction equipment manufacturers in the world. Taking place on ‘Yellow Table 2025’ as well, HİDROMEK is on the list for the eleventh time.
